We offer a prescription drug program as a supplement to our health benefit plans. We use a formulary, or approved list of drugs, in conjunction with our prescription drug program. Formularies allow us to offer you access to safe, effective drugs at a reasonable cost. Our formulary listings specify the following as applicable for each drug: generic, brand, and whether prior authorization is required.
In addition, you also have a mail order prescription drug option that allows coverage for approved maintenance drugs at a lower cost through the mail. However, some drugs cannot be shipped through the mail. Check with Member Services to verify if your medication is available via mail order.
